Diamond Materials is seeking dependable, experienced and hard-working individuals to operate construction equipment at our DE & NJ projects.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years experience operating Heavy Construction Equipment.
  •  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
  • Interact with construction general laborers and/or crew members who are facilitating alignment, movement, and adjustment of the equipment to complete conformation of grade specifications for the construction project.
  • Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required.
  • Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored.
  • Advise the Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
  • Participate in routine maintenance.
  • Properly follow all Company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment. Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety Manager.
  •  

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Ability to maintain detailed maintenance and safety records.
  • Knowledge of truck and equipment safety, including maintenance and storage requirements.
  • Ability to operate equipment related to milling and paving operations.
  • Knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques, including signals used.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Previous experience in construction work or an equivalent preferred.

Diamond Materials is seeking a Survey Party Chief for both public and private construction sites

(DE – NJ – PA – MD)

 

Requirements 

  • Must have prior survey experience
  • Ability to perform and work utilizing Topcon GPS
  • Knowledge of land surveying and/or engineering experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • 3-5 years as a Field Party Chief
  • AutoCAD experience preferred (although not necessary)
  • Ability/desire to work outside in varying weather conditions
  • Experience performing topographic and boundary surveys
  • Experience performing construction staking
  • Is punctual, adaptable, a team player, and can maintain a positive attitude

Diamond Materials LLC is a Heavy Highway Construction Company seeking an entry level project engineer to work with Project Managers and assist with project related tasks, including submittals, requests for information, change orders, schedules, material ordering and scheduling.

 

Responsibilities

 

Interact with project managers, superintendents, and clients to interpret their needs and requirements and provide support as needed.

Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans) and report regularly on project status to supervisors.

Monitoring compliance to standards and specifications, plans, and applicable codes.

Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support

 

Requirements

Time management and organization skills are a must.

Advanced MS Office skills, in particular MS Excel and MS Word

Ability to work with multiple projects and multiple managers

Decision making ability and leadership skills

Self motivated

 

Preferred but not required

1 year of civil construction experience or similar

Working knowledge of civil construction.

2 Year Degree or higher in Business or Engineering

Working knowledge of CPM Scheduling

PMP Certificate Holder

Project management and supervision skills

 

Salary TBD based on experience.
