In partnership with Corrado Construction, Diamond Materials created First State Skilled Field Training. First State Skilled Field Training is an apprenticeship program for current employees to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to advance in the construction field. During the winter months we take promising employees out of the field and teach them how to become skilled laborers and operators. Apprentices are enrolled in a State of Delaware/Federal approved apprenticeship program. Once the required curriculum, examinations, and on the job training are successfully completed, apprentices earn a Journeyman Certificate for Operating Engineer or Skilled Laborer. We feel that putting this investment into our employees leads to a better Diamond Materials.
