Diamond Materials is undertaking the Steiner Road Industrial Park project in Georgetown, Delaware, valued at $1,320,842.50. The purpose of this project is to complete all necessary site work for the construction of a new concrete plant for the property owners. The project’s original duration is six months, with anticipated completion projected for early 2026. Due to plan revisions and potential weather impacts, the overall duration may extend.
The scope includes clearing approximately 5 acres and moving 9,155 cubic yards of cut-to-fill material, supplemented by 46,880 cubic yards of imported fill to achieve required grades. Utility installation consists of 1,400 linear feet of storm drainage and 1,610 linear feet of sanitary sewer. Paving and concrete operations include placing 748 tons of asphalt and 14 cubic yards of concrete. No sidewalk, curb, or special stormwater management facilities are included in this project.
